Scan the area to find an old data storage system. Search for Information about Elisabet Sobeck When you come to a shaft, go straight up, ignoring the openings on the side. Each of them describe different enemies you’ve encountered, like Corruptors and the Deathbringer. You’ll come to a room with a few holograms. Once you reach a tower, you’ll have to climb up a ramp and use hand and foot holds to climb further upwards. There will be a few cave ins to get through. Take note, there are quite a few Data Points in these ruins. Follow the marker into the cave when you’re done to activate a cutscene.Īs you walk through the old ruins, an electronic voice will clue you in on what this building was used for in the past. A demonic voice will speak to you, then destroy the leader’s Focus. Loot the body of the Eclipse Leader when you’re done with the fight and investigate the rubble. There is a core and cooling rods that become exposed if the Deathbringer overheats, so make sure to take advantage of this opening and do shoot these as much as possible. If you get too close, it will breath fire at you, and it has other modes of attacks. You can use it once you’ve broken it off, but good luck trying to get close enough to the Deathbringer to pick it up and safely use it. To cripple its attack power, take out its gun turret with Tearblast arrows, or Hardpoint arrows. The entrance will provide at least some cover against the Deathbringer’s long-rang attacks. Make sure to be stealthy and take out the Eclipse before going after the machine. It’s a walking all-in-one army with bountiful automatic machinery. Further into the site, you’ll find more Eclipse, more Watchers, and a Corruptor, with sounds of explosions going off intermittently.Īfter taking the enemies out, there’s a wall you need to climb up ahead to progress.īe prepared, because up ahead is an absolutely deadly foe, aptly named the Deathbringer. When you first arrive, stick by the main gate and pick them off. The ruins will be completely surrounded by the Eclipse Cultists and Corrupted machines. Pick it up if any of these items sound useful to you (they are). Inside, you’ll find a Ropecaster, Metal Shards, a very rare modification coil, blaze, and wire. He points you in the direction of a supply crate. Also, be wary of the large Bandit Camp you’ll most likely pass on the way, and try to avoid it if you don’t intend on taking it out.Īs you approach, Aloy will start talking about why she’s headed there, and the unknown caller will speak to her through her focus. Just make sure to whistle for it occasionally. Riding a mount is beneficial not only because it’s quicker, but because it can enter the perimeter of the ruins and help you with combat. Make sure to ride a mount on the way here. Rinse and repeat this process a couple times and you'll easily snag the 6 necessary kills.Maker’s End is far to the north from Meridian. Once you have several wires setup, fire a bomb near the herd to make it run and they should dash right into the wires. They are particularly effective in the small canyons, and might even blow up a few machines at once. Set up blast wires everywhere, just make sure they aren't side by side or else you might waste them. You should have a good idea where the herd runs, since this is the third trial. This last one is fairly similar to the logpile, but much, much easier. Also keep in mind that the logs take a second to roll down, so break open the log piles a bit earlier, rather than later.ĭue to the slight randomness of the herd, this trial can take a few tries. You can try laying some tripwires to help stun and slow them while they are under the logpiles. This one can be tricky, because even with careful planning, the herd sometimes goes in a direction you don't want. Like the Keeper says, you can force the herd to move by shooting bombs near them. You can activate the logpiles by shooting the backs of them. This one requires you to kill the machines with the logpiles scattered around the environment. Shoot 3-4 of them, and you can easily get the gold medal, long before the timer runs out. Simply fire this arrow onto the back of any of the machines and it will blow up 3-4 canisters at a time. It explodes, ripping off parts of machines in an area. With this new bow, you can fire a special arrow called the Tearblast Arrow. This is much easier than it seems, so long as you buy the Carja Sharpshot Bow. For this, you must break off canisters from the robots.
